We're getting married!

We grew up oceans apart, one from a small town in Australia and the other, from an even smaller town in Sweden.

But somehow, we found ourselves sitting across from each other in a bar in Barcelona, soon to be in love.

Earlier this year we left Spain and moved to Stockholm to start a new chapter. After months of packing, visa paperwork, and emotional goodbyes, we’ve settled into our new home.

And now, we’re celebrating the next chapter!

Want to make some more memories with us?

By Public Transport

You can also catch public transport from Gothenburg to Grundsund, which typically takes 2.5 hours and involves two changes:

The island is quite small, and therefore quite walkable, so transport while there isn't required.

Accommodation

Private rentals

As the number of hotels on the island is limited, we’ve arranged several private accommodations in Grundsund. Each stay is approximately 500 SEK (€45 / $80 AUD) per person, per night.

Sheets and towels are typically not included but can often be added for around 100 SEK (€9 / $16 AUD) pp.
As they're private rentals from people on the island, it's best that the place is left clean and in the same condition you entered it.

As availability is limited, we’ll do our best to distribute the accommodation as best as possible. Most hosts prefer to rent out their place for a minimum of two nights, but let us know your plans!

If you’d like to buy breakfast or anything else, there’s a supermarket located in the centre of Grundsund that is well stocked and open a good amount of hours.

Hotels

If you’d prefer to stay in a hotel, we’ve also reserved rooms at Grundéns Hotel.

Double Room: 1,895–2,195 SEK per night
(approximately €175–€200 / $300–$350 AUD)
Includes breakfast and bike rental.

If that sounds more like your style, just let us know in your RSVP.We’ll then send you the details to book under our reservation.

Information

RSVP

Please RSVP by Feb 1st.

If you have any questions while going through it just shoot us a message :)

Kids

As much as we love your little ones, we're keeping the ceremony day child-free. That said, we completely understand if you're breastfeeding and need to have your baby nearby.

Dresscode

Dress code is Formal (Mörk kostym). Since it’s May, it might get a little chilly, so don’t forget to bring some extra layers just in case.

Gifts

We're so grateful for everyone that is willing to travel to celebrate with us, your presence is truly what matters most. If you’d still like to mark the occasion with a gift, we’ll create a home fund to help us set-up our future home.
